The technician will have these responsibilities: making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers. Doing preventative maintenance services on vehicles with little or no supervision and in a timely manner. Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc. Keeping your work area clean and safe. Using technologies to research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics. Learning or honing your skills through technician training. The technician will have the following qualifications: 3 years of professional experience in the automotive repair business, (preferred) experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), ASE Certification & or OEM training Certification, experienced using all tools of the trade (including diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to solve problems. The ability to work well as part of a team full attendance is an essential function of the job, work the required schedule, complete KPro employment application, the associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg, handle/move up to 100lbs/45kg (We have tools & equipment to assist with the handling of items).
