    • – Test drove vehicle and found the transmission has a noisy whine. – PO722-00 Output shaft speed sensor circuit (No signal) – On test drive noticed speedometer read 0 mph. – Shortly after, transmission would engage into first gear. – Checked for misfire counts. No misfires at this time. – Tested OSS signal wire has continuity. – Racked vehicle to check fluid level and condition, Fluid is very dirty and burnt. – Used testing equipment to test the output shaft sensor. The wave forms were extremely erratic, these readings usually indicate a damaged reluctant ring. – Took a fluid sample from the transmission, fluid smelt burnt and was dirty, transmission makes a lot of noise. – Recommend new transmission.
    • TRANSMISSION OIL PAN &/OR GASKET – Remove
    • TRANSMISSION OIL PAN &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace
    • TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – V6,4WD
    • (Additional) – TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace w/Skid Plate
    • – Hook up re flash equipment – Connect to the data base, down load the program To install into the new computer. – Retest after completing the re flash to confirm it is working as it should.

    • (Combination) – FRONT PUMP SEAL – Remove & Replace
    • (Combination) – TORQUE CONVERTER – Remove

    • Partially disassemble front bumper Found upper hose glued to radiator. Recommend replacing upper hose. Customer approves. Drain coolant/antifreeze Cut off upper hose and remove hose and radiator. Install new radiator. Install new upper radiator hose
    • Purged cooling system of air Verify thermostat opens Verify coolant fan operates (if applicable) Confirm no leaks Clear codes Test drive. Right reverse light is out Right brake light is dim Turn signal for left turn signal does not stay engaged
    • Remove reserve tank. Install new reserve tank. Fill cooling system with fresh coolant/antifreeze New tank comes with sensor. Does not connect to anything on this model Pontiac.
